Fashion Sizzle® New York Fashion Week (NYFW)
Fashion Sizzle® New York Fashion Week invites professional hair stylists to apply to join our official backstage beauty team during New York Fashion Week. Hair stylists play a vital role in bringing each designer’s creative vision to life on the runway.
Produced by Sizzle Arts, Fashion Sizzle® NYFW brings together designers, models, and beauty professionals in a fast-paced, high-fashion environment.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
We welcome:
Professional hair stylists with runway or editorial experience
Licensed cosmetologists & hair professionals
Braiders, natural hair specialists & textured-hair experts
Wig, extension & styling specialists
Freelance and salon-based stylists
NYFW experience is preferred but not required.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Selected hair stylists may be responsible for:
Creating runway-ready hairstyles based on designer direction
Working efficiently in backstage environments
Styling multiple models within scheduled timelines
Collaborating with makeup artists, designers, and lead beauty directors
Maintaining professionalism and hygiene standards

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:

Follow backstage protocols and schedules

SELECTION PROCESS
Applications are reviewed by the Fashion Sizzle® NYFW beauty team. Selection is based on:

Professionalism & reliability
Alignment with runway production needs
Approved applicants will be contacted via email with next steps.
